Hangjiao #7 is one of the most commonly grown of the Hangjiao Peppers that were originally bred in China after sending seeds into orbit to expose them to radiation and promote mutations for larger fruit, more fruit, and higher vitamin concentrations. The Super Nova grows very long, thin, twisty peppers that routinely reach 15 inches or longer in size! Great flavor that is just a bit sweet, not overly potent, and easy to snack on. These peppers grow fast, and you will often get 2 or 3 flushes of fruit off each plant in a typical summer garden. These are fantastic for making hot sauce, salsa, or eating fresh.
