A big, bountiful pepper plant that gets a little boost from space radiation! This is the first of the 10 Hangjiao peppers that were originally bred in China after sending seeds into orbit to expose them to radiation and promote mutations for larger fruit, more fruit, and higher vitamin concentrations. The Corona is a long, wide, blunt nosed pepper that has just a tiny bit of heat and a lot of flavor. Sweet and mild, with great wall thickness and texture that makes them a pleasure to chomp on. Often 10 inches long or bigger, with a radius of 2-3 inches, these are not small peppers! Ripen to red.
