Classic, bright red and deeply ribbed Italian heirloom known for it's versatility in the kitchen with it's mild flavor and slight acidity. Tomatoes are of medium size and are on the later end of mid-season varieties if not truly a late season variety in many climates. Single trusses can sometimes be overwhelmingly heavy so conscientious selection & pruning can be helpful.
