The cultivar was originally created by Enrico Lai (The Mojo Pepper) of Italy.
 
But more importantly, Francis Gagnon from Canada started working on the variety and managed to more or less stabilize a number of characters. The cultivar should thus be relatively stable, but slight deviations from the depicted photos may still occur.
