The Mosco is a chili pepper variety developed at Colorado State University and started with Harry Mosco as an improved variety of similar Colorado favorites like the Pueblo chile. Bright red fruits grow 5-6 inches long and are much more uniform than typical hatch or pueblo varieties. Decent heat, similar to a jalapeno at about 6000 SHU. High yielder, great for making salsas!
