Midwest Midnight Orange peppers are pretty stable. I still occasionally see a seedling with foliage that isn't as dark as it should be, but the vast majority are very dark. They grow usually to about 1 to 2 feet tall. The foliage is extremely dark....almost black. The peppers start out very dark, and ripen to a bright orange color. This one is one of my favorite ornamental peppers to grow.
