Great balls of fire! Aji Charapita is a prolific plant from Peru that grows hundreds of small, yellow, globe shaped peppers about the size of a pea. Renowned for its use in Peruvian cooking, it is often called the "most valuable pepper" by weight in the world. Quite spicy, approximately 10-15x hotter than a standard jalapeño it is often added to dishes as a garnish, crushed for it's spicy goodness, or eaten raw.
